As first official visit after their reelection, EDS Chairman Bence Bauer and EDS Vice-Chairman Matija Magerl visited the XIII. Sumemr Academy of the Student Organisation of the Croatian Peasants' Party (SO HSS) in Zadar, from August 2-4, 2010.
Chairman Bauer delivered two presentations about Youth in Europe and Political PR - which was highly appreciated by participants while Mr. Magerl spoke about project funding possibilities in Croatia. Besides these presentations, HSS International Secretary Darko Till and Hanns Seidel Foundation representative Aleksandra Markić Boban addressed the audience.
The tradition of good and intensive cooperation with SO HSS who invite EDS at the very beginning of the working year, should continue also in future was the sum-up of this meeting. Especially many thanks go to Chairman Mateo Ivanac, International Secretary Nevenka Cigrovski and the team of SO HSS.
At this occasion, the appointment of Nenad Vajzović as co-chair for of the Permanent Working Group Policies for Europe was announced and a first briefing held.
