1961–2026: More Than a Number

In 2026, EDS marks 65 years of student voices shaping Europe. From the Cold War era of 1961 to today’s digital and geopolitical turning point, EDS has consistently stood for democratic values, student representation, and a strong, united Europe.

But this event is not about looking back.

At the Power Brunch, we unveil EDS’ new visual identity, a refreshed look that respects our legacy while fully embracing the digital age. Proud of our past, firmly focused on the future, we are entering 2026 with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Competitiveness & Artificial Intelligence
How do we future-proof higher education? EDS is pushing for a system that responsibly integrates AI while equipping students with essential digital skills for a competitive European economy.

Studying is becoming a luxury. We call for urgent, concrete solutions to ensure affordable living conditions, so every student can study and work with dignity.
