Call for Applications: Co-Chairs for Policy Working Group on Culture & Creative Industries

EDS is opening applications for two Co-Chair positions to lead our newly established Policy Working Group on Culture and Creative Industries.
European Democrat Students (EDS) is excited to announce the launch of our new Policy Working Group: Culture and Creative Industries. We are looking for two dedicated and proactive leaders to shape our policy agenda and drive discussion on the future of European culture, media, heritage, and the arts.
Culture and creative sectors play a vital role in shaping European identity and economic innovation. This working group will serve as a key platform for young political representatives across Europe to collaborate, debate, and develop high-impact policy proposals.
Key Responsibilities
As a Co-Chair, you will play a central role in guiding the working group's vision and outputs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Defining the priorities, agenda, and programme of the Working Group.
- Meeting & Event Coordination: Leading discussions, policy sessions, and regular online or in-person working group meetings.
- Member Engagement: Connecting with EDS member organizations and young leaders across Europe.
- Policy Development: Overseeing the drafting of EDS resolutions and official policy position papers.
- Representation: Representing the Working Group within the broader EDS network and at official events.

Selection Process Note:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an interview with the selection committee. Please note that the submission of an application does not guarantee automatic appointment to the position.
