EDS Council Elects New Bureau Leadership in Warsaw

During the European Democrat Students (EDS) Council meeting held in Warsaw on Saturday, August 1st, delegates gathered to elect the organization's leadership team for the upcoming mandate.

Top Leadership Positions

• Chairman: Francesco Sismondini (StudiCentro) was re-elected to continue leading the organization as EDS Chairman.
• Secretary General: Filip Gajić (HAZ Croatia) was elected as the new Secretary General.

Elected Vice-Chairpersons

‍The Council entrusted the following Vice-Chairpersons with seats in the new Executive Bureau:

• Marios Konstanteas – DAP-NDFK ONNED (Greece)
• Krista Pisani – SDM (Malta)
• Stefan Arsov – MGERB (Bulgaria)
• Mateusz Gieryga – Nowa Generacja (Poland)
• Rakel Friberg – KSF (Sweden)
• Alex Zamborský – ODM (Slovakia)

Next Steps for Remaining Vacancies
‍To ensure full representation, the EDS Council decided that the remaining vacant seats in the Executive Bureau will be filled during the upcoming Council meeting in autumn.
